Dubai’s Real GDP grew 3.3% in the first nine months of 2023, reaffirming the city’s ambitions to 2X its GDP over the next decade. As part of its D33 agenda, the city has announced numerous initiatives and plans including a program to support the growth of 30 companies in new sectors to become global unicorns and an SME scale-up program by helping 400 identified high potential companies scale globally, to spur growth across vital economic sectors like logistics, manufacturing, finance, tourism and more. The most recent, Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI is set to contribute US$ 27.2 billion to the city’s economy and lays down the foundation to harness the power of AI across sectors.
