From its initial text-based chatbot form, Cora has evolved through natural language processing and machine learning to offer more advanced capabilities, including voice recognition. In 2023, Cora helped 10.8 million customers resolve their banking queries.

NatWest recently announced Cora+, the next-generation version using generative AI and multiple foundational models to maximize value for customers.
